Canberra newborn and family photographer
Whether you're interested in a cosy newborn session, a lively family session, or a reflective maternity session - our full session packages are simple and all inclusive.
Newborns and babies
$ 600
- includes photo session (usually around an hour), and all edited digital images (minimum 40)
- in your home, or my cosy Bruce home studio
- can include parents, siblings, grandparents, and pets
- flexible booking policy - book a date, but finalise the date of your session after your baby is born
- $100 deposit secures the date
- payment plans available
- save $100 per session when you book a bundle (two or more full sessions booked at once)
Family
FROM $ 600
Includes the photo session and all edited digital images (minimum 40).
Fun, child-led sessions are usually around an hour. Following your session, a curated and hand-edited digital gallery of more than 40 images will be delivered to you for download in high resolution.

Bundles
We offer discounts when you book more than session with us! Clients often love to book maternity at the same time as newborn.
We offer two sessions, with all edited images included, for $1000. A $200 deposit is payable at the time of booking to secure the special pricing.

Travel expenses
Travel expenses are included for full photo sessions within the Canberra region - including within Canberra itself, Queanbeyan, Murrumbateman, and Hall. Some places further afield (more than 40kms from my studio in Bruce - such as Goulburn, Burra, Googong, Bungendore, Braidwood, and Yass) may incur an additional travel fee. Please contact me to discuss your family's needs 😊

Gift vouchers
We offer gift vouchers for all our sessions, valid for three years from the date of purchase. Sent via email or post, to you or direct to the recipient 🥰
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer prints and frames?
Yes! When you receive your digital gallery, you can order prints and framed products. Orders are fulfilled by Atkins - Australia's oldest and finest photography lab - and shipped directly to you.
What is the best age to get newborn photos?
Anytime is the right time to photograph your beautiful newborn baby. We will initially reserve your session for 2-4 weeks after baby's due date, but we're flexible around dates once your baby arrives to make sure the session works for you and your family.

Can I customize a photography package to fit all my needs?
Yes! Contact us for anything a bit unusual - we are flexible and can work with what you need.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes! Speak to us about gifting your loved ones a package. These make wonderful gifts for baby showers, new babies, Christmas, Mother's Day, and birthdays. We send beautiful hardcopy vouchers to you or the gift recipient.
Can I bundle sessions?
Yes! Speak to us about creating a bundle session package.
Do you have a client wardrobe?
We have streamlined packages which don't include wardrobe, but we can speak to you about your wardrobe choices and recommend local businesses to help you. Little Wing customers receive a sitewide discount at the wonderful Making Mama Hire which offers a try on service in Monash.
How do I decide between an in-home or a studio photography session?
Clients who choose an in-home session like this option because they don't have to leave the comfort of home, and they can include older siblings, pets, and extended family in the session. My clients who choose a studio session appreciate having a suitable, cosy space already prepared and ready for them - they just bring themselves and the rest is done for them.
Both are great options! Speak to me if you can't decide.
Please note that our studio is currently not suitable for children once they are walking, or for pets.
What if my kids don't cooperate??
They probably won’t—and that’s ok! I'm a mother too, and know that the photographs I treasure come from real moments, not reluctant cooperation. Bring the kids, just as they are (beautiful!), and I'll take care of the rest.
What is my partner isn't thrilled about a photo session?
It's often the case that everyone in the family is not equally thrilled about the idea of a photo session 😊 That's absolutely fine. Our sessions are natural and relaxed, not drawn-out or stressful.
Sometimes dads are the reluctant ones - if so, perhaps show them our Fatherhood gallery to show them the kind of images we can capture of them with their beautiful children.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept bank transfer and credit card. Speak to us about payment plan options if would like to make use of this option 😊
Can i include my pets?
We are very happy to work with your furry family members! We can include them for all sessions EXCEPT those in our home studio (which is not suitable for animals).
