Newborn, maternity, and family sessions

Services

The cost of services covers a photography session of 40-90 minutes' duration, and all edited digital images resulting from this session (a minimum of 40 images). The images will be provided to you via online gallery for download in high resolution, within four weeks of the session. You have the option to purchase prints through the gallery for an additional fee.

Consistency and style of work

I aim to be consistent in the quality and style of images I provide to clients. In booking my services, you're agreeing that you want me to produce images of a similar style and quality for your family (unless we have made an arrangement otherwise).

Light edits, in keeping with the style of photography on my website and social media, are included in the price of the session. More substantial edits are available upon request for an additional charge, based upon the additional time required. A quote can be provided on request.

Booking retainer fee

A $100 deposit is required before booking is confirmed. If this fee is not paid within 3 days of requesting the booking, the session time made available for others to book.

This fee forms a retainer - it covers the cost of my time in booking out the session time as I will turn down other potential clients for this session. The booking retainer fee will be credited towards the total fees payable for the session.

Remaining payment

The remainder of the payment is due on or before the day of the session. You will not receive your gallery until final payment has been made. An invoice will be sent to remind you :)

Cancellations, rescheduling, and being late

The booking retainer fee is not refundable if you cancel your session.

For newborn sessions, I have a flexible booking policy - which means that the date for your session can be confirmed or rescheduled once your baby is born, according to what you and your family need, and subject to availability.

For other session types, I will do my best to accommodate rescheduling if you need to (but please understand this is not always possible especially if you cancel within a week of the booked session).

If I need to cancel our booked session, I will offer you the choice of alternative dates (where this is available) or a refund of the deposit retainer fee and ending our agreement.

If you are late to our session, I may cut our session short by the amount of time you are late.

Ownership and use of work

Your completed gallery will be provided to you within four weeks of our photo session.

I retain ownership of my work, and may use it for marketing, advertising, or promotion, such as on social media, websites, and printed materials. Let me know before our session if you have concerns about this.

You can use the images from our session for any personal use - on social media, for printing, in personal creations such as albums, gifts, and family newsletters. The images are not to be used for commercial purposes without my agreement.

Liability

Neither of us will be in breach of this agreement if there is a delay or non-performance caused by illness, emergency, fire, strike, pandemic, earthquake, or any other conditions beyond reasonable control. The time for performance will be extended for the period equal to the duration of the conditions preventing performance, or the agreement will be cancelled if the duration lasts more than 60 days. Any prepaid fees for services not performed will be returned within 15 days of the cancellation.

I will not be liable for delays in sessions or the delivery of galleries due to technological malfunctions, service interruptions that are beyond my control (including as a result of delays in receipt of instructions from you), or for work that fails to meet my usual quality or style standards due to your actions or any other participants at the photography session that are beyond my control.

My maximum liability arising out of or related to the services or the work shall not exceed the total fees payable for the service.

Agreement to terms and conditions

Payment of the booking retainer fee is taken to be agreement to these terms and conditions unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Milestone and Sibling milestone packages

Services

The cost of services covers 3 photography sessions each of approximately 15 minutes' duration, booked within a 12 month period at times of your choosing (subject to availability).  Milestone packages are for children only and do not include parents or other family members.

A lightly edited online gallery will be provided to you within two weeks of each session date. From it you can select the number of images included in your package (four per session for Milestone packages, 5 per child per session for Sibling milestone packages). You also have the option to purchase additional images from the galleries if you wish. Once your selection is made, within two weeks the final edited images will be returned to you via online gallery. You have the option to purchase prints through the gallery for an additional fee.

We understand that things happen - children get sick, unexpected things come up. However rescheduling may not be offered if you have already cancelled and rescheduled within one week of a booked session.

If I need to cancel our booked session, I will offer you the choice of alternative dates (where this is available) or a prorated refund and ending our agreement.

If you are late to our session, I may cut our session short by the amount of time you are late.

Mini sessions

Services

The cost of services covers a photography session of 15 minutes' duration, and six edited digital images resulting from the the session (selected by you from a full gallery of images from the session). You will have the option to purchase additional digital images if you wish. The images will be provided via an online gallery for download in high resolution, within four weeks of the session. You will also have the option to purchase prints through the gallery if you wish.

I aim to be consistent in the quality and style of images I provide to clients. I've marketed the style and set up of my mini sessions so you know what to expect. In booking my services, you're agreeing that you want me to produce images of a similar style and quality for your family. For your particular session, the number and style of set ups we use will depend on how your session flows - we are child led, and aim to get the best possible images of your family (quality over quantity).

Light edits, in keeping with the style of photography on my website and social media, are included in the price of the session. More substantial edits are available upon request for an additional charge, based upon the additional time required. A quote can be provided on request.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellations, rescheduling, and being late

Mini sessions are organised for set dates and locations, with a number of sessions booked back-to-back. For this reason, it's not possible to reschedule a mini session booking, but you can shift your booking to other available timeslots for the same or a subsequent mini session if you wish. If no suitable timeslot is available, you can use your payment as credit towards a future session (mini or full) if you wish, or cancel your session.

The payment is not refundable if you cancel your session.

If I need to cancel your mini session, I will offer you the choice of alternative dates (where this is available), a credit of the payment towards a full session, or a refund of the payment and ending our agreement.

If you are late to our session, I may need to cut our session short by the amount of time you are late. Given the sessions are short, this may mean it is not possible to hold your photo session.
